RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC – TechJournal South, the business publication covering the southeast’s technology community, will be releasing its list of the top 15 most promising biotech firms in the southeast with its March 2006 issue’s Special Biotech Report.
In addition to highlighting the hottest biotech firms, the Special Biotech Report will highlight the top biotech cities in the Southeast along with a host of directory resources for the region’s biotech industry.
There are over 250 biotech firms in the Southeast, ranking the region third nationally behind only New England and California. The Southeast has more life sciences communities than any region, with biotech clusters growing from the region’s strong R & D oriented universities.
“Cities, regions and states around the country are actively trying grow their biotech markets,” said Eric Gregg Publisher of the TechJournal. We’re fortunate to have a strong thriving biotech industry here in the Southeast to continue to build and grow from.”
TechJournal staff and editorial committee members consisting of regional Venture Capitalists and industry experts used a variety of criteria to select the “most promising” biotech firms in the region.
Complementary subscriptions are available for qualified biotech and technology executives in the Southeast. Those subscribing by Feb 22, 2006 will receive the Special Biotech Report March issue. Subscriptions are available via the website, www.techjournalsouth.com.
