Search Engine Optimization agencies and businesses can now have their own branded SEO rank checking tool to better secure a successful SEO strategy.
The free Google Rank Checker SEO Tool with Google API is a new WordPress plugin that instantly provides the estimated Google search result position for keywords and corresponding URLs. This allows online marketers to forecast the effectiveness of keywords within a webpage and determine the size of the page’s competitive field.
The Google Rank Checker is the first and only plugin for WordPress with this functionality, says Optimum 7. Working directly with Google AdWords and formatted to 2011 Google API, the plugin allows users to obtain the estimated ranking of up to 2,000 keywords per request. Without this application, WordPress users must enter each keyword directly into Google AdWords to obtain the estimated ranking of each term.
“This tool produces a chart that displays each keyword’s rank in Google, the AdWords estimated position and results, average cost per click, estimated clicks per day, and the monthly or annual potential traffic,” says Julian Beaujardin, plugin creator and senior programmer at Optimum 7.
The plugin, which has more than 1,800 downloads since its release in August, allows users to set cost per click limits, select the results page desired, and establish automatic updates. Users must have a Google AdWords account to use the tool.
“We developed the Google Rank Checker plugin because we needed a shortcut into AdWords that would enable us to develop and monitor our clients’ SEO campaigns more quickly and efficiently,” says Duran Inci, COO of Optimum 7.
