The top 30 most influential PR bloggers named

Top 30 CyberAlert, Inc., the media monitoring and measurement service, has released its list ofThe 30 Most Influential Bloggers in Public Relations.

The selected bloggers comprise a core reading list for PR professionals and cover a range of PR specialties including writing, media relations, media monitoring and measurement, blogging, content marketing, crisis communications, search engine optimization, analytics, reputation management, press conferences, and social media.

Hundreds of articles over years examined

In developing the list, CyberAlert editors examined hundreds of articles referenced in its weekly newsletter Media Monitoring News over a period of five years and compiled the “best of the best” based on insight, innovation, substance, and writing quality.

“For Media Monitoring News, we look for articles with innovative ideas, real insight and worthwhile perspective to share with our subscribers in PR and marketing,” said Bill Comcowich, CyberAlert CEO.

“These 30 bloggers have distinguished themselves with multiple articles in our newsletter on topics of vital interest to PR professionals. They are the epitome of the sharing community in public relations.”

Among the bloggers selected are Katie Paine of The Measurement Standard, Heidi Cohen of The Heidi Cohen Blog, Jeremy Porter ofJournalistics, Brian Solis of The Brian Solis Blog, Avinash Kaushik of Occam’s Razor, Mark Schaefer of Businesses Grow, Shel Holtz of Holtz Communication and Technology, Chris Abraham of The Chris Abraham Blog, Melonie Dodaro of Top Dog Social Media, Deirdre Breakenridge of PR 2.0 Practices and Lou Hoffman of Ishmael’s Corner. The CyberAlert list also includes a link to the Twitter account for each of the bloggers.
